Clarification Text Regarding the Processing of
Personal Data

Acting in the capacity of data controller pursuant to the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("Law"), as Akca Logistics Hiz. ve Tic. A.S., we process your personal data with due care and sensitivity within the scope of the services we offer you. In this context, we would like to inform you about the purposes for which your data is processed, with whom it can be shared, the method of collecting your data and the subject.

1. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your identity and contact data that you share with us as Akca Logistics Hiz. ve Tic. A.S., if you visit our website, your digital trace data collected through e-mail (non-automatic and partially automatic means), e-mail and online correspondence applications, through physical forms, through corporate resources; if you visit our workplace or participate in meetings or organizations, your photo or camera recording data, visual and audio recordings, identity information (name, surname, trade name, contact information (e-mail address, mobile phone number), transaction security information (access information) are processed limited to the services or activities specified below in order to enable Akca Logistics Hiz. ve Tic. A.S. to provide the best service to its customers.

• To fulfill our obligations to you as a company, to be able to prepare the records and documents required by the Turkish Commercial Code, Tax Procedure Law, MASAK legislation, local and international legal regulations, to comply with information retention, reporting, disclosure, tax and other obligations,
• To review requests from official authorities or you, to receive complaints, problems and error notifications regarding products and services, to evaluate, respond, manage these requests, and to provide you with information regarding your complaints and requests,
• In line with the purpose of determining and implementing the commercial and business strategies of the Company; to manage financial operations, communication, market research and social responsibility activities, purchasing operations (demand, proposal, evaluation, order, budgeting, contract), internal system and application management operations and legal operations carried out by the Company,
• To determine your usage preferences and browsing history (cookie) if you use our website or mobile application,
• Keeping visitor records and ensuring the security of our workplaces,
• Organizing meetings, organizations, trainings, conferences or events,
• Ensuring the security and continuity of information systems within the scope of data security,
• Managing customer relations and improving and developing business processes in this scope, conducting analysis, surveys and reporting studies,
• Conducting communication and marketing (advertising, campaigns, promotions) processes,
• Registering for membership on the website,
• Conducting contract processes,
• Opening current account cards and making agreements regarding the purchase of products/services
• Communicating with business partners and suppliers and recording the information obtained during this communication, contacting you if you request to be contacted by contacting us through communication channels, carrying out communication processes,
• Examination of information and documents for the audit of compliance with the services received and the persons providing the services,
• Fulfilling the requests of official institutions and organizations, implementing the decisions communicated to Akca Logistics Hiz. ve Tic. A.S.,

2. Transfer of Personal Data

Your collected personal data can be transferred to the followings,

• Our suppliers from whom we receive support in the fields of information technologies or consultancy, product or service supply requiring expertise (legal and financial consultancy firms, lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, independent audit firms, banks, occupational physicians, occupational health and safety service providers, training service providers, database management service providers, hosting service providers, user authorization and information technology service providers, cargo service providers, service providers, digital storage service providers, incentive consultancy service providers, laboratory service providers, internet access, maintenance and support service providers, physical storage service providers),
• The information requested from us in order to fulfill our legal notification, declaration and audit obligations and other related obligations, to carry out judicial/official correspondence, to exercise our legal rights such as the execution of legal disputes and litigation and response rights, to fulfill the obligations within the scope of the incentives that our company benefits from, to authorized public institutions and organizations, courts, prosecutor's offices, law enforcement and other judicial/administrative authorities,
• To our suppliers from whom digital storage services are received in order to obtain digital storage services to record the meetings held,
• Authorized institutions and organizations, companies from which services are received, our suppliers from which physical and digital storage and server services are received in order to carry out periodic inspection processes, to ensure rights and benefits and to make notifications to the relevant official authorities, to manage occupational accident and safety training processes, to carry out occupational accident processes in accordance with the legislation, to fulfill legal obligations if requested by official institutions and organizations, limited to the purposes described in the first article of this information text and the reasons that require it to be transferred within the scope of the relevant legal regulations; to supervisory and regulatory public institutions and organizations, professional organizations and persons or organizations permitted by the provisions of the relevant legislation, companies whose services we benefit from and cooperate with, and Akca Logistics Hiz. ve Tic. A.S. and its group companies, databases used by and in common with Akca Logistics Hiz. ve Tic. A.S.

3. The Method and Legal Reason of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected for the above-mentioned purposes, in accordance with the basic principles stipulated in the Law; Akca Logistics Hiz. ve Tic. A.S.'s legitimate interests; automatically or non-automatically and by the methods listed below provided that it is stipulated by law, for the performance of the contract, for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation, that it has been made public by you and provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject:

• In case you visit our workplaces, verbally, in writing or electronically through closed circuit camera recording systems,
• Through your submissions by e-mail,
• It is collected by the COMPANY, limited to the existence of the legal reasons listed here, within the framework of the legal legislation, for the above-mentioned purposes and for the performance of the contract, in case it is clearly stipulated in the law, your personal data has been made public by you, it is mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of the right to be granted to you, it is necessary for the Company to fulfill its legitimate interests and legal obligations without prejudice to your fundamental rights and freedoms, and your explicit consent necessary for the purposes of processing and transfer expressly set out above.
• If you visit our website or subscribe to our website, through cookies and through social media channels.

4. Your rights under the law

As personal data owners, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to the Company by the methods set out below, the Company will finalize your request as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. In this context, within the scope of Article 11 of the Law, which regulates the "rights of the person concerned", personal data owners have the right to

• learn whether their personal data is being processed,
• request information if their personal data has been processed,
• learn the purpose of processing their personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
• know the third parties to whom their personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
• request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing and to request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,
• request the deletion or destruction of personal data and to request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom personal data is transferred, in case the reasons requiring its processing are no longer valid, although it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 6698 and other relevant laws,
• object to the occurrence of a result against him/her due to the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
• and in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data, to demand compensation for the damage.

In accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 13 of the Law No. 6698 and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller dated 10.03.2018 and numbered 30356, you can submit your request to exercise your rights mentioned above in Turkish and in writing or by using the registered electronic mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature or the electronic mail address previously notified to the Company and registered in our system.

The Company reserves the right to verify your identity before responding. If you have an e-mail address registered in our system, via your registered e-mail address, via info@akcalojistik.com e-mail address or via www.akcalojistik.com address, you can communicate your opinions, suggestions and applications about Law No. 6698 and our Company's implementation of KVKK and you can contact us.
